It always seems like the last days of summer are the hottest, so today we escaped the heat and monotony of playing at the house by going to the Children’s Museum downtown Bryan. We met up with several friends and had a grand time exploring the multiple exhibits they have set up for the little ones. My son’s favorite stations were the train set and the home building station. We were also treated to a fun and interactive story time. It was very hard getting him to leave.
While we were there I saw information for SEC Days, an event that will be occurring at the Museum during the 2012 Aggie Football Season. Parents can bring their children ages four and up (potty trained) to the museum beginning two hours before kick off.
The children are able to play games, enjoy crafts and other fun activities. This week the kids will get to play on the Moon Walk in addition to all of the other activities. Pizza will be served compliments ofBoston’s. Members only have to pay $20 and non-members pay $25 for this fun opportunity for the kids to play out of the heat while the parents are able to enjoy watching the Aggies BTHO Florida! Pick up for the kids ends one and a half hours after the game ends.
Parents do need to register their children and pay 24 hours before drop off, so hurry and visit the following link for further information and to sign up your children for this fun day for at the Children’s Museum: http://sec_days.charityhappenings.org/
